WLE

Women Leading in Education Across Continents

Due: May 15, 2015

Closing Date for Abstract Submissions for our 2015 Conference

Traditional conference formats continue to constrain and restrain opportunities for women to share their work in meaningful and progressive ways. In an endeavor to do things differently, we invite delegates to think creatively and explore other ways of presenting their work. For example, you might consider integrating movie footage, a dance, a poem, a story, a song, a sculpture, a painting, weaving or an interactive activity as appropriate ways of engaging your audience.

The possibilities are many and this conference will provide a safe context for experimentation. Or, you may feel more comfortable with the traditional conference presentation format. You may present on your own, or with others. You will have a maximum of 30 minutes and we ask that you allow at least 10 minutes within that time for audience engagement, participation, dialogue and questions.

The programme committee for International Women Leading Education invites proposals for the WLE 2015 New Zealand Conference to be held in Hamilton, 31 August - 3 September 2015.

The submission of original work related to women and educational leadership is welcome. Proposal abstracts may report the results of completed research, describe research in progress, or present a position, case study or narrative on an issue related to the conference theme. The work of postgraduate students is welcome and encouraged.
